Formway is a free tool for preparing California court forms. It provides form preparation tools, not legal advice or representation. Using Formway does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Your responsibilities
You choose the forms and answers. Review every completed PDF for accuracy and completeness, check current court requirements and deadlines, and consult a qualified lawyer when you need legal advice.
Signing, filing, and service
Formway does not sign, file, or serve documents for you. You are responsible for required signatures and attachments, any applicable fees, and filing and service on time.
Permitted use
Use Formway lawfully. Do not interfere with the service, bypass security controls, or use it to create fraudulent documents.
Availability and limitations
Forms, rules, and local requirements can change. Access can be interrupted and errors can occur. Formway does not guarantee court acceptance or a particular outcome. Check current forms and court requirements before relying on a completed document.
Privacy and saved work
Our Privacy policy explains how information is handled. Keep your downloaded PDFs, saved drafts, workspace files, and passwords secure. Save copies you need before closing the tab or clearing data.
External resources and translations
Linked court websites and other services have their own content and terms. Translated guides assist understanding; completed court forms use the official English templates. Check the form and instructions that apply to your situation.
